We are eagerly anticipating welcoming guests again on St. John as the Governor has announced that tourism will reopen on June 1. Airlines are resuming flights to the island starting in May, and many of our rental properties will be available for stays starting on June 1.

Even while tourism is paused this month, our Tropical Properties team continues to show and sell properties on the island. Our agents are able to conduct business virtually and all are reachable by cell phone to provide exceptional service for our clients. St. John Beach of the Month

Located on the North Shore of St. John, Oppenheimer Beach was formerly owned by Robert Oppenheimer, The Father of the Atomic Bomb. The Virgin Islands National Park surrounds this secluded beach. A wrought-iron gate opens to a short path that leads to this lovely beach area. Enjoy powdery soft sand and calm, clear water. You can arrive by boat or by car, but keep in mind that parking is very limited, only 3 or 4 cars can park there at any time.  We definitely recommend Oppenheimer Beach if you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax!

St. John Charity of the month: KATS St. John

Theresa M. Sim has been a resident of St. John for over 10 years now. She is just one of the full-time Real Estate agents at Tropical Properties and is currently working on her Brokers License. She came to visit back in 2008 and never left! Her journey started at Maho Bay Campgrounds, an Eco-Resort that was nestled in US Virgin Islands National Park. Since then, she’s obtained her Virgin Islands Real Estate License, 100-ton Captain’s License and founded a handful of small businesses ranging from cleaning/maintenance services to gift baskets and retail sales which ultimately lead to the foundation of a property management company, Azure Vacation Homes. She also volunteers for the Pets with Wings Program to help relocate island pets to forever homes in the States.
