March 4-6: VI Jam Fest. For the second year, this 3-day music festival presented by Cruz Bay Music brings some of the island’s favorite performers together at Maho Crossroads. Catch Zach Deputy, Chali 2NA, Passafire, Erin Hart and more for fun and music on the beach!

March 6: Wine & Unwind. Are you a wine enthusiast, food lover or enjoy the vibe good music brings? March 7: Friends Annual Meeting. National Park Service, Friends, and community leaders will be in attendance and deliver updates on priorities for the Park in 2020. In addition, a cultural showcase at the event will include bread making, gardening, charcoal making, and basket weaving demonstrations.

Mar 13–14: Sol Driven Train. On da beach! Just get off the ferry and turn right. You will find one of the best bars in the world, and Sol Driven Train jamming out for the weekend. Join us at the Beach Bar St. John for two nights of great music.

Every Monday and Tuesday: Reef Bay Hike with the Friends of Virgin Islands National Park. This three-mile guided hike of Reef Bay Trail takes about three and one-half hours from the trailhead to the beach and ends with a 40-minute boat ride back to the Cruz Bay Visitor Center.

St. John Beach of the Month: Scott Bay Beach

There are many beaches on St. John that are only accessible by boat, and one of the best is Scott Bay Beach. It’s part of the Caneel Bay Resort that is now closed, but you can take a boat to get there or go with a guide from Virgin Islands EcoTours. These tours allow guests to hike and explore the Caneel Bay Peninsula. There’s amazing kayaking and snorkeling at Scott Bay Beach, and it’s an ideal location for viewing green sea turtles and stingrays. You’ll love the crystal clear water with a white sandy bottom, it makes the snorkeling fantastic!

St. John Trail of the Month: Bordeaux Mountain Trail

St. John Villa of the Month: Caneel Trail Side Villa

St. John Charity of the month: St. John Cancer Fund

The St. John Cancer Fund is a grassroots organization founded to ease cancer-related financial hardships for St. John residents and their families. Since 2012, they have raised over $700,000 to benefit residents of St. John in the battle with cancer.  The St. John Cancer Fund was formally organized on July 19, 2012 with a mission to provide unrestricted financial assistance for St John residents and their families during and after diagnosis and treatments.
