For December 2020, there were 10 sold listings compared to 6 sold listings in December 2019. For year-to-date 2020, we have had 51 sold listings up from 45 sold listings year-to-date December 2019.  For the active listings for December 2020, we had 9 pending listings up from 5 pending listings in December of 2019. For the year to date 2020, we had a total of 62 pending up from 43 pending total year-to-date 2019.

St. John Charity of the month: Love City Strong

Love City Strong began as a small group of St. John residents who came together in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Within 24 hours of the first storm, their immediate goal became clear: Mobilize volunteers within the community to address the most pressing issues associated with the immediate recovery efforts. The group was quickly recognized by federal and local first responders, and was brought in on multiple immediate response and recovery projects ranging from emergency evacuations to supply chain logistics and donations management. For the last several years, Love City Strong has created and implemented multiple short term programs aimed at addressing critical needs resulting from the 2017 storms. Their long-term programs focus on increasing preparedness on St. John through several complimentary sectors.

Theresa M. Sim has been a resident of St. John, for over 10 years now. She is just one of the full time Real Estate agents at Tropical Properties and is currently working on her Brokers License. She came to visit back in 2008 and never left! Her journey started at Maho Bay Campgrounds, an Eco-Resort that was nestled in US Virgin Islands National Park. Since then, she’s obtained her Virgin Islands Real Estate License, 100-ton Captain’s License and founded a handful of small businesses ranging from cleaning/maintenance services to gift baskets and retail sales which ultimately lead to the foundation of a property management company, Azure Vacation Homes. She also volunteers for the Pets with Wings Program to help relocate island pets to forever homes in the States.
